Fridays in February featuring Stampin UP Special Reason bundle

Hi there & welcome to my "Fridays in February" blog. There are just so many awesome products to share during Stampin Up Sale-A-Bration and the Occasions Catalogue that I just wanted to do an extra blog for Fridays this month.

For this first Friday post I am sharing a card made using the Special Reasons bundle from Stampin Up. Oh my, it is gorgeous. This bundle features the Stylish Stems Framelits Dies which allow you to make this wonderful "peek through"  effect.

For this card I used a piece of Thick Whisper White as the card base.  I cut a piece of Dapper Denim card stock and used the negative image from the thinlit die to create the "peak through" effect.

I stamped the flower image in So Saffron and cut it out using the thinlit die shape. I cut the larger flower image using  So Saffron and the smaller leaves in Cucumber Crush card stock

 I like to make matching gift boxes,  so I made this small box using So Saffron card stock for the base and Dapper Denim In Colour Designer Series paper for the lid, and cut the leaves, stalk and flower in So Saffron and Cucumber Crush.

It is only a small box but its cute enough to hold a couple of chocolates or small tea light candle.
