Treat Bag featuring Stampin Up Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper

Hi there & welcome to my Merry Monday blog.

Christmas is just around the corner and I am busy making extra little treat bags for friends.
This really is a quick and easy project and you can get 2 treat bags from one sheet of 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper.

I used the Candy Cane Lane paper and Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set because they are just so cute and they make me want to fill this treat bag with loads of sweet treats!

Start by cutting the designer series paper at 5 3/4 x 8 inches. On the landscape side, score at 2 1/8, turn around and score again at  2 1/8.
On the portrait side score at  1/2 inch.
Check that your paper is facing the right way up so that the top of the bag has the pattern facing the right direction.

Fold the score lines and  cut away the two smaller tabs on the right and the left hand sides.
Apply adhesive and fold in the landscape side and the bottom tab to close.

I stamped the ginger bread  in Crumb Cake ink onto Whisper white card stock, then I cut them out using the Cookie Cutter builder punch.
I stamped the sentiment in Real Red and adhered to a  Tea Lace Paper Doilie.

To close the treat bag, I used the Bow Paper clips and added the Candy Cane Lane bakers twine.

I hope you enjoyed this project.
