Treat Bag featuring Stampin Up Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper
Hi there & welcome to my Merry Monday blog.
Christmas is just around the corner and I am busy making extra little treat bags for friends.
This really is a quick and easy project and you can get 2 treat bags from one sheet of 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper.
I used the Candy Cane Lane paper and Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set because they are just so cute and they make me want to fill this treat bag with loads of sweet treats!
Start by cutting the designer series paper at 5 3/4 x 8 inches. On the landscape side, score at 2 1/8, turn around and score again at 2 1/8.
On the portrait side score at 1/2 inch.
Check that your paper is facing the right way up so that the top of the bag has the pattern facing the right direction.
Fold the score lines and cut away the two smaller tabs on the right and the left hand sides.
Apply adhesive and fold in the landscape side and the bottom tab to close.
I stamped the ginger bread in Crumb Cake ink onto Whisper white card stock, then I cut them out using the Cookie Cutter builder punch.
I stamped the sentiment in Real Red and adhered to a Tea Lace Paper Doilie.
To close the treat bag, I used the Bow Paper clips and added the Candy Cane Lane bakers twine.
I hope you enjoyed this project.
If you need any Stampin UP supplies and you don't have a Demonstrator in Australia, I would be happy to help.

Note Card Gift Box featuring Affectionately Yours Speciality Designer Series Paper
Hi there & welcome to my Merry Monday blog.
This weeks post features a Note Card gift box which contains Thank You notes and envelopes.
I have actually made these as part of a Christmas gift for two very special people who I know will really appreciate a handmade gift.
I used Night of Navy and Flirty Flamingo card stock to make the boxes.
They measure 9 x 9 x 4.5cm once complete and are large enough to hold 6 or more small note cards and envelopes.
I cut cut the copper foil using the Square Layering dies, and cut the Affectionately Yours Designer Series Paper using the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies.
There are touches of copper in the paper so it matches perfectly with the copper foil.
I also made small envelopes for each of the note cards.
I kept the stamping on the note cards simple, just using the Tin of Cards stamp set.
I hope you enjoyed this project. If you would like instructions for cutting and scoring, please dont hesitate to email me and I will send them to you.
