Merry Xmas Cards featuring Stampin' Up! Large Letter Framelits

Stampin' UP! Demonstrator StampingMerry - Merry Xmas Cards featuring Stampin' Up! Large Letter Framelits

Thanks for checking in on my blog post this week. I am playing with the Large Letter Framelits from Stampin' UP! for these cards.

I went for non traditional colours and really like the tropical feel to this first card.

I cut 3 layers for each letter just to give them a little more dimension on the card front.

For this card I chose the Merry Music Designer Series paper to cut the letters. I really like how it turned out.

I added a few sequins for some additional texture.

Special Celebrations featuring Pieces and Patterns by Stampin' UP!

Stampin' UP! Demonstrator StampingMerry - Special Celebrations featuring Pieces and Patterns by Stampin' UP!

Hi there and thanks for stopping by.
The recent arrival of my new baby nephew prompted me to search my stash of cards for a baby card and..... well the stash was empty. No baby cards at all so a great excuse to get into my craft room. (not that I need an excuse)

I love, love, love the Pieces and Patterns stamp set. I think it is so perfect for a whole range of cards.
I stamped the cute bear in Crumb Cake ink and did a very light water colour to fill in his tummy.
The cute little bunny is cut out from the Pick  A Pattern Designer Series Paper . I also used the striped paper from Birthday Memories suite as  I really like the bright colour combination.
If you like these papers they are part of the BUY 3 GET 1 FREE promotion with finishes this week on 31 October.

For the inside I added a sentiment from Special Celebrations stamp set and randomly stamped with a couple more of the stamps from the Pieces and Patterns set.

Now all I have to  do is buy a present.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you enjoyed this project. I would love to update you when I create a post, so if you would like to receive and email from me when I do, please Click Here.

Merry Little Box Using Merry Little Christmas Paper By Stampin' UP!

Stampin' UP! Demonstrator StampingMerry - Merry Little Box Using Merry Little Christmas Paper By Stampin' UP!

Hi there
I think I may have gone a little wild using Merry in my blog title but seeing as how I am using  Stampin' Up! products which feature the word Merry I could not resist.

This elegant little box is really easy to make and I have used pretty embellishments to add a Christmasy touch, but of course you could use the gift box for any occasion. I just wanted to showcase the gorgeous products featured in the Stampin' Up!  Holiday Catalogue.

Its a good size to fit jewellery, sweets or a set of 3x3 cards.
I added the belly band using paper from the Merry Little Christmas suite and  Merry Music Speciality Designer Series Paper.
The tag  is stamped in Lemon Lime Twist using the Merry Little Labels bundle.
And last but not least, the Mini Tinsel Trim and Mini Ornaments to finish. I love how it turned out.

If you would like to learn how to make and decorate,  please join me at my card class in October. Everyone who attends will make this, all products supplied. If you cant make it that day,  and  you would like to try this out,  here is the link to the video that I used.
This is what it looks like once you have cut it out. It uses card stock cut at 10x8 inches.

This is what it looks like from the top. Its really easy to make and I have made it tons of times for gift packaging.

I added in some cute 3x3 note cards and envelopes. Stampin' UP! have brought back these cute little 3x3 envelopes again . Perfect for gift tags.

Hearts Come Home Stamp Set by Stampin' UP!

Stampin' UP! Demonstrator StampingMerry - Hearts Come Home Stamp Set by Stampin' UP!

I don't generally try my hand at too many fancy fold cards. I love to see all the wonderfully creative fancy folds that other talented people do and totally appreciate the amount of work involved but I prefer to keep it simple and enjoy other "fancys" from afar!

However with that said....I have a fancy fold card for you today. Its so easy .... seriously easy.

I used the Hometown Greetings Edgelits Dies from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue to the card, it really does add a little extra fancy!
The Designer Series Paper is the Merry Music Designer Series Speciality Paper . There are 24 sheets lightweight paper printed with traditional Christmas Carols. Such pretty paper.

The photos really don't do the card justice, but the Greeting Edgelits are cut from the Champagne Foil sheets. The foil is beautiful and really makes the dies stand out. I added the little black rhinestone jewels to the doors.
I used one of the Silver Snowflakes behind the sentiment. These snowflakes are great value at Aud $10.00 for 24.

If you would like to try this card, it really is super easy.
1. Fold the card base in half
2. Fold the front piece back in half (mountain/valley)
3.The band at the bottom is 4.5cm x 22cm
4. Fold the band in half and fold one half back (mountain/valley)
5. I cut the designer series paper  2 pieces at 4.5cm x 14.5cm and 1 piece at 10cm x14.5cm and adhered to the card
6. Adhere the dies to the band and adhere it to the bottom of the card. Don't adhere the middle band to the card base, or the card wont be able to open and close.
