Super Duper Birthday featuring Stampin Up stamp set

Hi there & welcome to my Merry Monday blog.

I cannot believe that its the last week in January already. WOW. My husband has a birthday this month and it seems to have come around even more quickly than usual.

The card I am sharing this week is actually his birthday card ! I like the sentiment Super Duper because he really is !!

I used Dapper Denim card stock. I stamped the sentiment once in Dapper Denim and another in Watermelon Wonder. Then I fussy cut the SUPER DUPER from the watermelon wonder and adhered with dimensional over the Dapper Denim stamped image. I used the stitched shape framelit to cut the oval shape.

I cut a piece of watermelon wonder card stock at 14cm x 2.2cm and made the "pop up" banner using the die from the Window box thinlit die set. It does not really show that well in the image but it just sets the sentiment image up of the page to give a bit of height off the card. I hope that makes sense!

Occasions and Sale-A-Bration Featuring Window Shopping Bundle

Hi there & welcome to my Merry Monday blog.

This weeks post features the Window Shopping Bundle which is featured on page 43 of the Occasions Catalogue.
If you like gorgeous little boxes and co-ordinating cards then this set will rock your world. It rocks mine!

This set can be purchased as a stand alone stamp set or Thinlit Die but if you purchase toghether you save 10%.

I made the card using Calypso Coral cardstock and used a coordinating designer series paper from the cupcakes and carousels paper stack. I used the flower thinlit die in the set to cut the image onto Whisper White cardstock and then layered it onto the card.

The great thing about this set is that the font in the sentiments is just so pretty and works well with so many of the other suites in the Occasions Catalogue.

The largest of the die cuts and scores this hexagon shaped box.

I made this using Peakaboo Peach card stock and used Whisper White again to cut out the flower image which I adhered to the top of the box.
I stamped the sentiment using Peakaboo Peach ink and Smoky Slate

Just to add something different, I made a belly band using the Carried Away Designer Series Paper which you can earn for FREE during Sale-A-Bration.

More DragonFly Dreams

Hi there & welcome to my Merry Monday blog.

On todays blog I am featuring the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set and thinlit dies bundle again. This set is featured in the 2017 Occasions Catalogue. If you would like a copy of the Catalogue, please email me :stampingmerry@gmail.com

I have used images from the 2017 Occasions Catalogue as the base for both of the designs.

For this card, I have stamped the image in Basic Black and die cute using the smaller of the two images. I used the Cupcakes and Carousels Designer Series Paper

for the background.

In the second card I stamped the image in So Saffron and die cute another one in vellum. I placed the vellum over the stamped image.

Dragonfly Dreams featuring Hey Chick Sale-A-Bration stamp set

Hi there & welcome to my Merry Monday blog.

Todays blog features the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set and thinlit dies bundle. This set is featured in the 2017 Occasions Catalogue. If you would like a copy of the Catalogue, please email me :stampingmerry@gmail.com.

For this card, I have used just the Bumble Bee image and coordinating thinlit die from the bundle.
The Bee is stamped in Basic Grey and water coloured on Shimmery White card stock using the fabulous new Stampin Up Water Colour pencils.

They really are wonderful pens and so easy to blend. Water colouring is now my new favourite thing.

I could not resist, and I had to use the image again stamped in Basic Black to add to this cute little box.
