Merry Little Christmas Treat Box with Stampin' UP! Products

Stampin' UP! Demonstrator StampingMerry -  Merry Little Christmas Treat Box with Stampin' UP!

Today's post is the last for this year and I am sharing a little treat box project. This box is big enough to fit a small gift, some sweet treats, perhaps even a gift card.

The Merry Little Labels stamp set used is  part of the current year end sale. Its a really versatile set and can be used outside of the holiday gift giving season.

To make these boxes I used the Stampin' Up! Envelope Punch Board. Its not just for making envelopes.

I used the Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper for this first box.

The second one features the Year of Cheer Designer Series Paper....this foil paper is gorgeous.

I made a bellyband with the Champagne Foil Sheets for this example

To make this project, you will need  paper which measures 6.5 x 6.5 inches.
Using the Stampin' Up! Envelope Punch Board   place the paper at the 1 7/8th mark, punch and score. Then move the paper along to the 31/4 mark, punch and score.
Continue these two score marks for each corner.
Fold and score, cutting into the small tabs so you can fold them in and adhere.

Its easy and simple to make and you can have the closure folded either way as I have shown.

Several of the items I have used are discounted in the Stampin' UP year end sales event. Click Here to see the deals.

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you a very Merry Christmas and Safe and Happy New Year.
See you 2018.

Year of Cheer Speciality Paper by Stampin' UP!

Stampin' UP! Demonstrator StampingMerry - Year of Cheer Speciality Paper by Stampin' UP!

Hi there crafting friends
My project today is a quick home decor idea for the holiday season.
I decided just to make the Year of Cheer speciality paper the star...and what a star it is.

Hands up who occasionally holds onto old jars or bottles that are a great shape, and you never  know when they  might  come in handy again! Well, I did just that with a few old glass smoothie bottles. I knew I could use them for a project, and this one was just perfect.

I just cut the foil paper to cover the bottles and wrapped around, securing at the back.

I covered the  lid with the foil snowflakes, punched out a circle, added Jute Twine, Mini Ornaments and its done.
I am going to add mine to the Xmas table decorations this year and keep with the  foil theme.
All the products I used are included in the product list below.  Simply click on the product and you will go directly to my Stampin' Up! on line store.
This was a quick and simple project and a great way to reuse the jars or bottles we  hold onto, just in in case we need them!

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you enjoyed this project. I would love to update you when I create a post, so if you would like to receive and email from me when I do, please Click Here.

Gift Card Holders with Stampin' UP! Merry Little Labels Stamp Set

Stampin' UP! Demonstrator StampingMerry -  Gift Card Holders with Stampin' UP! Merry Little Labels Stamp Set

I don't know about you but some years coming up with ideas for Christmas gifts is way too hard. This year I decided to make it nice and easy and give Gift Cards.

I wanted to be able to present them in a pretty way so here is a great idea for a Gift Card holder and a little treat bag to hold it all.

The holder uses a piece of 6inch x 5 1/4 inch card. This is scored at  3/4inch on both sides of the short side. Score again on the longer side at 1 1/4inch and 3 3/4inch.
Cut along top and bottom 3/4inch tabs and remove them so you are just left with the middle tabs in place.
You will need to knotch in the side tabs slightly so the holder  closes easily.
Fold in the side tabs and the smaller bottom fold and adhere.

I then adhered the holder to Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper (click products below for more details).
I really liked how the first one turned out so  I made a other one!

The Gold Striped Treat bags are my "go to" item for gift packaging this season. LOVE THEM!

Introducing Stampin' Blends Markers by Stampin' Up!

Stampin' UP! Demonstrator StampingMerry - Introducing Stampin' Blends Markers by Stampin' Up!

I am so lucky I found Stampin' UP! Why??
Because Stampin' UP have introduced new Stampin' Blends,  Alcohol-based blending markers which are available in 12 exclusive Stampin' UP! colours.

I am no artist that's for sure but these blends are so easy to use that you really cant go wrong. For today's projects I used Pink Pirouette and Pool Party blends for my birthday girl.

I used the blends also to colour the white doilie which I placed behind the image.

For the next project I used the Daffodil Delight and Smokey Slate blends for the door. Love how this gift packaging turned out. The striped gift bags are so great.

One last thing before I sign out...you don't have to purchase ALL the colours at once. You can buy single markers or combinations... light and dark ones.. whatever you choose so it makes them really affordable. I went for the softer shades for my first purchase but will probably go for some deeper shades a little later on.

If you click the blends image below it will take you directly to my online shop where you can see all the options available for the Stampin' Blends.

Want to see more about Stampin' Blends? Check out this short video from Stampin' UP!
