Merry & Bright

Hi there & welcome to my Merry Monday blog.

Todays card features the Wonderful Year stamp set, available in the 2016 Holiday Catalogue.

I adhered the Presents & Pinecones Designer Series paper to a piece of Mint Macaron card stock. I cut two small pieces of Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White card stock to layer over the designer series paper.

I stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler, then adhered the Whisper White with dimensionals.
I used the Bakers Twine trio pack for the bow, under the sentiment.

A very quick and easy Xmas card.

Just to add an extra little something,  I added a pinecone, which is made using gold foil and the die shape from the Pretty Pines Thinlit dies .

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Christmas Treat Box using Stampin Up Gift Box punch board

Hi there & welcome to my Merry Monday blog

The countdown to Christmas has started and I need to get some gifts prepared for loads of people.
I decided that a gift box this size would be large enough to hold sweet treats, jewellery or even note cards.

I made one of the boxes using the Presents and Pinecones Designer Series Paper and the other using Cherry Cobbler card stock.

I cut both sheets to 8 inch x 8 inch and used the Gift Box punch board to score and punch the box.

I made the tags using the Merriest Wishes stamp set and thinlit dies.

I was on a roll and remembered another  friend who would really appreciate a small gift, they love all things floral so I went with the floral inspired This Christmas Speciality Designer Series Paper

I hope you enjoyed this project. If you like more details on how I made these boxes,  please email me and I will be happy to send a PDF version of the instructions to you.

Hi there & welcome to my Merry Monday blog

This week I want to share the latest addition to my framelits dies collection (its getting bigger by the month!!)
Stampin UP have released a new set of Stitched Shape Framelit Dies and they are AWESOME. This set was due to be released in June 2017 with the next Annual Catalogue but they are making their debut early which is so great.
In addition to being able to order them now, you can also get 25% off  selected co-ordinating stamp sets from 1 November until 30 November. You can still order the framelits after the 30th however this promotion is a great opportunity to get them and a stamp set for a reduced price.

The two cards I have featured today show the Oval Framelits and the Tin of Tags stamp set which is included in the 25% off promotion.

I used Whisper White and Crumb Cake note cards for both of these cards and the Tin of Tags stamp set.
I will be show casing these framelits in my  Stamp A Stack on the 19th November.

Here are the details of the Promotion

I hope you enjoyed this project.

Birthday Love featuring featuring Sunshine Wishes Thinlits

Hi there & welcome to my Merry Monday blog.

Wow, second week in November already....... what happened to October!
I should be posting more Christmas themed ideas but instead this week I just wanted to share a birthday card using the Affectionately Yours Designer Series Paper.
There are 3 elements which require die cutting using the Big Shot, but it is a quick and easy card to assemble.
I layered a cut a piece of Crumb Cake card stock to 10cm x 14.5cm. I cut a piece of the Affectionately Yours Designer Series Paper to 9.5cm x 14cm and adhered to the card stock.

Using the Sunshine wishes thinlit die I punched out the love in Whisper White cardstock and adhered to the Crumb Cake cardstock label. The BIRTHDAY sentiment is stamped in Crumb Cake Classic Ink using the Thoughtful Banners stamp set.
I tied the linen thread in a loose bow and adhered it behind the label.

I hope you enjoyed this project.
