Merry Wishes using Stampin UP products

Hi there and welcome to Merry Monday Friday. OK, so today is not Merry Monday but I like this set so much I that I had to share another post.
This Merriest Wishes stamp set and Merry Tags Framelits Dies are so versatile I just wanted to use them again and again.

I used soft sky card stock as the base of the this card. I used the Big Shot to die cut these framelits using Soft Sky, Real Red, Whisper white card stock and gold glimmer paper.
On the white card I used the dot stamp with Delightful Dijon and stamped over the sentiment in Real Red.
I used the Gold Twine from the bakers trio pack to "hang" the tags.

There is no doubt that I will blogging  this set again sometime soon.

I hope you enjoyed this quick extra blog. Happy Friday and have a great weekend.

The products I used are listed below.

Stampin Up Merriest Everything using Holiday Catalogue Products

Hi there and welcome to my Merry Monday blog, featuring Stampin UP products shown in the Holiday Catalogue.

When I saw this set, I knew it  would be on my wish list. Merriest Wishes is such a great tie into my stamping name (and my name of course). I like the sentiments of Be Joyful and Merriest Wishes and its a great set that can be used for cards and gift tags.

This set is available as a bundle (10% saving) and includes 11 stamps (wood block or clear mount) and 7 Framelits Dies.

I used a piece of copper foil  to die cut (using the Big Shot)  the larger plain circle tag.
Using a piece of Thick Whisper White card stock I die cut (using the Big Shot) the moose and trees. I adhered it to the copper foil using the fine tip glue pen. I did not adhere the  moose and trees images to the copper so that it "pops" to give a 3D image off the copper foil.

Merriest Wishes Clear-Mount Bundle
You can purchase either separately or as the bundle with a 10% saving.

I stamped the sentiment in versamark then heat embossed with copper embossing powder.
Lastly I tied a bow using the linen thread and adhered metallic sequins.

I rather like it... simple and clean.

The products I used are listed below.

I hope you enjoyed this project. If you need any Stampin UP supplies and you don't have  a Demonstrator in Australia, I would be happy to help.

Stampin' Up! Happy Birthday

Welcome to my Merry Monday Blog featuring Stylized Birthday stamp from the Stampin UP Annual Catalogue.

As September marks the beginning of Spring in Australia, I went with colours that gave me a "Daffodil springy kind of feeling"!

I used Tip Top Taupe for the card base, then Cucumber Crush and Affectionately Yours Designer Series Paper. I love the Daffodil Delight with the Cucumber Crush colours.
Even though this card does have a floral edge to it, if could be used for a male birthday card.... maybe!

Happy Birthday is stamped in Cucumber Crush. I used the  Layering Circles Framelits for the circle. The larger flower is punched out with the Petite Petals punch and the smaller one on the inside is from the tiny flower in the Tree Builder  punch.

The twine is the new Thick Bakers Twine in Cucumber Crush.

The products I used for this card are listed below.

I hope you enjoyed this project. If you need any Stampin UP supplies and you don't have  a Demonstrator in Australia, I would be happy to help.

Gift Box using Stampin Up Star of Light : Holiday Catalogue products

Hi there and welcome to my Merry Monday blog

The Stampin UP Holiday Catalogue is now live and I am enjoying using the great new products.
In a previous blog I mentioned that the Star of Light is one of my favourties......well it  really is.
You will see wonderful examples of different uses all over Pinterest. It is such a versatile set.

For todays post, I have made a gift box made using Stampin UP card stock and decorated with the Star Of  Light Stamp set and Thinlits dies.
I made one box in Smoky Slate and the other in Pool Party using Sweet Sugarplum ink and card stock.

Really easy to make, and if you are coming to one of my Xmas Stamp- A Stack- classes we will be making these gift boxes.
This box is a great size for jewelry, soap or would even fit a set of 3 x 3 inch cards.
To make the box, you will need card stock that measures 10 x 8 inches

  • Score the long side at 2, 3 1/4, 6 3/4, and 8 inches
  • Score the short side at 1, 2 1/4, 5 3/4 and 7 inches
  • Fold and burnish the score lines and cut the score lines  -  example shown :

The belly band which goes around the box  is as a strip of Whisper White card stock cut at 2 x 11 inches. I stamped onto this using the Star of Light stamp set. I used the Starlight thinlit Die to cut out the image and adhered to the belly band.

The silver ribbon comes is included in the glitter ribbon combo pack in the Holiday Catalogue.

The products I used are listed below.

I hope you enjoyed this project. If you need any Stampin UP supplies and you don't have  a Demonstrator in Australia, I would be happy to help.
